Do you enjoy producing fresh food you can be proud of, but feel tired of working long hours just to get through service? This is a role with no culture of excessive overtime, giving you a proper work/life balance and a life outside the kitchen.
This role offers
- Stable hours: A 40-hour week with no expectation of excessive overtime.
- The chance to lead one of the organisation’s busiest kitchens, catering for 180–220 covers per lunch and dinner service (up to 300 residents on site).
- Real ownership of the operation: menu input, standards, stock/ordering and compliance; not “just cooking”.
- A community feel: You’ll get to know residents, hear their feedback, and take pride in improving meal satisfaction.
- Great benefits: Including free gym access, enhanced pension and maternity pay, death in service cover, and more.
As Catering Manager, you’ll run the kitchen day to day: setting standards, organising service, leading the team, and keeping everything compliant while delivering fresh meals at scale. Bringing your experience from education, care, contract catering, staff dining or other high-volume environments, you’ll step into a role where your leadership directly improves resident satisfaction every single day.
