You will be working for one of Staffordshire’s largest precision manufacturing companies which specialise in CNC machining, producing high-quality components for various industries. We are looking for someone who wants to be as committed to nurturing the next generation of CNC experts through the apprenticeship program as they are.
What you’ll do:
- Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to apprentice CNC operators, helping develop their skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress and training activities
- Deliver training programs covering CNC machine operation, tool setup, programming and safety protocols
- Manage up to 5 apprentices at a time
What you’ll need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience operating Mazak CNC Machines
- Proficiency in CNC programming and setup
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Patience and a passion for teaching and mentoring
- Commitment to safety in the workplace
What you’ll get:
- £32,000 salary
- Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 16:30 Friday 08:30 – 15:30
- 25 days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
