Freelance / Contract (2 days per week Ongoing) – Remote / UK

This is not a “keep the lights on” role. It’s about building something that disrupts a category and proving what works, quickly.
 
The role

We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Lead who can take full ownership of paid acquisition. You’ll be accountable for outcomes over time, with two dedicated days per week for deep work (campaign builds, optimisation, analysis, creative and landing page testing).
 
If you’re smashing it and it takes you less than 2 full days some weeks, that’s fine – It’s about results, not hours.
 
What you’ll do

  • Own paid media strategy and execution across key channels (minimum: Meta, Google, TikTok; plus others as relevant such as YouTube, LinkedIn, programmatic).
  • Lead media buying and agency management, including briefing, feedback loops, and escalations.
  • Own and deliver against CAC / CPA targets, balancing efficiency with scale.
  • Run structured creative testing and iteration (concepts, hooks, formats, landing page angles).
  • Partner with analytics/data to ensure tracking integrity (pixels, CAPI, UTMs, attribution, and where possible incrementality).
  • Produce weekly performance reporting with clear insights, actions, and next tests.
  • Use performance data to guide market prioritisation and scaling decisions.

 
What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in performance marketing / paid media (Meta, Google, TikTok, Youtube etc).
  • You’ve supported and scaled a DTC brand (eCommerce and/or subscription ideally).
  • You’ve personally owned a CAC/CPA target and hit it.
  • Confident operating autonomously and comfortable working in a Startup/scale-up environments.

  • Rate: £600/day
  • Time: 2 days/week (ongoing)
  • Ad-hoc flexibility for via Slack/Teams for update
