My role at Logic:

I’m one of three Managing Partners at Logic Resourcing, but in simple terms I get to do a bit of everything from completing the company accounts (least favourite) to recruiting (the bit I enjoy). I predominately focus on the recruitment of sales, HR/People and business support functions.

Life before Logic:

I’ve spent the majority of my career working as an in house recruiter and manager heading up the resourcing function for retail, sales, contact centre and business support functions. I did take a short hiatus as a HRBP for 5 years, but the lure of recruitment and the challenge of setting up my own business resulted in Logic Resourcing.   

Why I do what I do:

Working in a profession where you have limited contact with people was never going to be for me. I love chatting to people, naturally curious and I get a buzz from placing candidates into great companies. Like many recruiters I never planned for a career in recruitment, however after taking my first job out of uni as a Recruitment Consultant the highs and lows, unpredictability and buzz of recruitment had me hooked. 

What I do outside of work:

I would love to list lots of exciting activities such as rock climbing and abseiling, but the truth is I have two young kids who have impacted my love for binge watching boxsets, eating out and travelling to all-inclusive resorts. An afternoon watching Stoke City FC and the opportunity to organise my shed is as good as it gets at the moment.
