As leaders in industrial and commercial packaging, we wanted to expand our presence in the construction industry.

 

To support this growth, we created a brand-new role for a Business Development Executive – someone with the tenacity to self-generate leads, proactively engage with businesses, and drive sales in this sector.


We’d advertised the role multiple times on Indeed but struggled to find the right skill set. Either candidates didn’t turn up for interviews, or they lacked the experience we needed. It became a time-consuming and frustrating process. On top of that, we weren’t just looking for a salesperson; we wanted someone who could grow with the role, potentially stepping into a senior position and building a team as the business developed.

 

That’s where Logic Resourcing came in.

 

They understood exactly what we were looking for and found us the perfect candidate – someone from a telesales and business development background with a brilliant attitude and a proven track record of generating sales within the industrial, construction, and engineering sectors.

 

Sales recruitment can be tough. Every salesperson will tell you they’re great, but having experts who could assess and sift through candidates for us was a no-brainer—it saved us time and ensured we hired the right person. It was a tough ask, as we needed someone to hit the ground running, but Logic Resourcing delivered.

 

Now, just over 12 months in, our new hire has consistently performed, delivering strong results and driving growth in this new sales channel. As a result, we’re now looking to expand the team further, and he will naturally step into a more senior role as we develop his career.

 

It’s a huge achievement, especially in telephone-based sales and business development, where candidates often don’t last. It’s refreshing to see that not only has he stayed, but he’s thriving. His personality and attitude were spot on, and he’s been a real asset to the business.
